Crotched Mountain Foundation Names Frederick R. Bruch, Jr., MD, FACP, CPE, Chief Medical Officer
Greenfield, NH – Crotched Mountain Foundation announces that Frederick R. Bruch, Jr., MD, FACP, CPE, has been named chief medical officer of the Foundation. Dr. Bruch will also continue in his role as medical director for Crotched Mountain Specialty Hospital, to which he was appointed in 2013.
Prior to joining Crotched Mountain, Dr. Bruch practiced as an internist and hospital medicine physician at Dartmouth Hitchcock-Keene and Cheshire Medical Center from 1991 to 2013, where he served as chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine/Hospital Medicine from 2004 to 2012. He also served as compliance officer for both organizations.
Prior to joining Dartmouth Hitchcock-Keene, Dr. Bruch was a general internist at Oceana Urgent Care and Family Medicine in Virginia Beach, Virginia., and also served as General Medical Officer for the United States Navy at bases on Guam and in Norfolk, VA.

He embraces our mission, understands the needs of the vulnerable populations we serve, and I am confident he will continue to lead us toward positive growth and development as medical director.”
Dr. Bruch earned his medical degree from Albany Medical College. He completed his internal medicine residency training at Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine in Norfolk, VA and at Bethesda Naval Hospital. Dr. Bruch has been a Fellow in the American College of Physicians since 1993. He earned a Certified Physician Executive (CPE) designation from the American College of Physician Executives in 2012. He is board certified in internal medicine and as a certified physician executive.
