The Boston Bruins Alumni faced off with the Crotched Mountain Wild for the ninth annual Bruins Alumni Classic, held on January 27 at Sullivan Arena in Manchester, NH. This year’s installment was the largest yet, with over 400 attendees and over $38,000 raised.
Proceeds from the Bruins Alumni Classic will support Crotched Mountain Accessible Recreation and Sports (CMARS), which provides outdoor adaptive recreation to people with disabilities, as well as the programs of Crotched Mountain School.
Bruins icons included Terry O’Reilly, Andy Brickley, Bob Sweeney, Bob Beers, and captain Rick Middleton, who recently had his jersey raised to the rafters at TD Garden. Between periods the Bruins alumni took photos and signed autographs with the attendees.
“The Bruins Alumni classic is such an awesome way to kick off each new year,” said David Johnson, Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Crotched Mountain School. “It’s a great family event supporting a great cause and we could not be prouder to partner with such a legendary organization like the Bruins Alumni to make it all possible.”
Special thanks to RBC Wealth Management, Nashua was the Premier Sponsor and Brown and Brown & Brown Insurance, NH was the Honorary Bruin Sponsor.
