Helping your child find the wonder in each day.
Happy memories are among the best experiences children can take into the future. At Crotched Mountain’s Wonderworks Learning Center, we make those memories every day.
Located on our beautiful Greenfield campus, Wonderworks is a child-focused program where your child will grow, learn, and explore. Since 1981, we’ve provided developmentally-appropriate educational opportunities for children, whether it’s learning about animals, singing songs, sharing a story, making new friends or discovering the outdoors. Our caregivers nurture the whole child, providing kindness, creativity, and compassion.
Why We’re Different
Age-appropriate child care programs
Our age-appropriate programs serve children in the Monadnock region and Crotched Mountain employee families. Through our open-door policy, you’re welcome to participate in our curriculum by visiting any time during the day. Join your child for lunch or attend a parent-teacher meeting.
Access to the unique resources of Crotched Mountain
Wonderworks classes utilize Crotched Mountain’s scenic outdoor hiking trails, aquatics center, lakeside recreation area, state-of-the-art library, and media center for age-appropriate programs and activities.
Special spaces for movement and quiet time
Children can dance, move, and play musical instruments in our music and movement room. For quiet time, a “soft” room provides space to relax and read.
Field trips and family fun
Field trips and classroom celebrations are an important – and fun – piece of our curriculum! Field trips to a local apple orchard or farm reinforce classroom learning and are a great way for your child to socialize with their friends. Join us for family-centered celebrations like our Halloween parade, Thanksgiving feast, ice cream social or spring graduation ceremony.
